We are strong supporters of the Project AWARE campaigns to protect our marine environment!

The island staff team of our premier PADI 5 Star IDC Dive Centre on Gaya Island is dedicated to the protection of our local environment in the Tunku Abdul Rahman Park. Project AWARE’s objectives correlate naturally with the PADI system of dive education, which our PADI professionals teach in all courses and programs conducted to our clients.

Not only this, but our support extends to organizing conservation projects such as beach and underwater cleanups, which are very popular within our local community!

Our Platinum PADI Course Director Richard Swann discusses with our local PADI Divemaster Trainees about the benefits of incorporating conservation activity within our snorkel safari program as further contribution. Project AWARE have gifted us with mesh bags as recognition of our commitment to the preservation of nature. All PADI professional guides conducting our very popular 1-Day snorkel safari program will take with them mesh bags an encouraging our snorkeling clients to volunteer their own efforts.

Get in touch with our Head Office for more information on the snorkel safari program at our Gaya Island beach house and a member of our staff will arrange an individually catered Borneo holiday.
