Travel consultants Stephanie and Joey begin their arrangements for a visit to the Sandakan region on the East Coast of Sabah to witness our endemic wildlife and say “Hi” to our partners on the East Coast.
Their flights are booked and they’re already so excited to begin discovering the natural world of the exotic, tropical jungles of Borneo.
The ladies will overnight at accommodation that is included in our popular wildlife adventure packages to ensure that customer service levels are as expected from a partner operator.
Some of the highlights of their trip will be the early morning cruise along the Kinabatangan River & jungle walks in Tabin Wildlife Reserve! An expert guide will join them to point out orang utan, proboscis, long-tailed and pig-tailed macaqs swinging in the trees; various species of hornbills sweeping the waters’ surface; and if Steph and Joey are really lucky, a herd of pygmy elephant might appear at the rivers’ edge for a drink!
