One of our interns, Thibaut, recently and successfully qualified as a PADI Open Water Scuba Instructor and is already getting his first real teaching experience as he educates his younger brother, Aloys.
Aloys is a candidate in one of our Downbelow Go PRO internship programs to become a PADI Divemaster – and he’s just finished his PADI Open Water course!
Under his older brothers’ tutelage, he will begin his PADI Advanced Open Water course soon and Thibaut will explain all knowledge development in their native French language. Although, PADI do provide eLearning in many languages, Aloys will learn so much more from an instructor-led approach of the knowledge development. Thibaut will also benefit in this very hands-on teaching method and it will improve his instructional abilities.
Thibaut is also completing his PADI Master Scuba Diver Trainer rating to enjoy teaching different scuba diving disciplines that interest him. He will be able to integrate PADI Specialties, of which he is qualified as a PADI Instructor, with the chosen PADI Adventure dives in Aloys’ PADI Advanced Open Water course. By doing so, Aloys will be a much more accomplished Go PRO diver when he is certified as a PADI Divemaster.
Aloys’ internship is a 2-month program, which will be plenty of time for him to complete all courses up to PADI Divemaster and also learn through observation and experience the operation of our premium PADI 5 Star IDC dive centre.
Both Aloys and Thibaut will be finishing their internship programs with the confidence and professionalism needed to excel in the scuba diving industry because our candidates receive full support by our Downbelow team during their Go PRO development.
