Never Dived Before? Gaya Island in the Tunku Abdul Rahman Park in Kota Kinabalu is ideally suited to beginner divers, or really anyone who is fit to dive,  providing shallow, sandy confined water environments which slope to slightly deeper coral reef habitats.

We have a very quiet lagoon for our Discover Scuba course and confined water training, and a very special house reef with lots of marine life.

Discover SCUBA gives you immediate access to the beauty of the underwater world. Our paradise location is not crowded and you receive very personal attention.

The PADI Discover Scuba Diving program in Kota Kinabalu introduces people to scuba diving in a highly supervised and relaxed manner.

It dispels common misconceptions about scuba by letting individuals try it for themselves.

As part of the Discover Scuba program, and under the guidance of a PADI professional, new divers learn basic safety concepts, put on equipment and swim around underwater in a closely supervised environment.

See what only divers get to see with the guidance of a professionalAfter trying Discover Scuba, many new divers may decide to repeat the experience.

If not immediately, then on other occasions or in different areas.

Others will choose to pursue certification by enrolling in a PADI Scuba Diver or Open Water Diver course.

When certain requirements are met, new Discover Scuba divers may earn credit toward PADI Scuba Diver and Open Water Diver certification.

In between the course work and diving of the Discover Scuba program, you can take some time to enjoy relaxing on the tropical beach.

You can now enjoy a 3rd dive with an instructor, from the boat, as part of the Discover Scuba Diving program to a maximum depth of 12m. Instead of the 3rd dive, you can opt to enjoy a fully guided snorkeling session from the boat at no extra charge instead.

Once you've completed your DSD your will be recognisedYou don’t have to book the afternoon dive, “try before you buy” if you get the bug you can decide on the day of your Discover Scuba program.
