Downbelow team and students met a pod of dolphins yesterday.

Yesterday was an exceptionally great day for us as we stumbled upon a pod of Pacific Bottlenose dolphins.

It is known that these type of dolphins pass by the islands at this time of the year so it was a real pleasure meeting them.

The dolphins yesterday hung around for a while much to the enjoyment of our students and trainers. Even our resident PADI Course Director Richard jumped into the water to have a look closer at them from below.

Tunku Abdul Rahman Park is blessed with a wide variety of marine animals and, as this event showed, even the dolphins enjoy the waters here.

You too can enjoy the warm waters and beautiful scenery here as we offer dive trips to Gaya Island and also Sabah’s west coast.

Downbelow’s PADI 5 Star IDC Dive Center is located in the vicinity of the park and it is indeed a perfect spot to empower yourself with diving skills as you will train and dive in a beautiful marine paradise.
