One of our boat captains recently took a day off from work but he was still seen around our PADI 5 Star IDC Dive Centre because instead of wandering around town, he took the PADI Rescue Diver Scuba Course along with a guest from Singapore.
A perfect decision if you ask me!
Nobody should stop learning and our captain knows it.
Not only will the course increase a diver’s knowledge and experience level, it will also help the diver to recognize potential dangers and if necessary, take control during emergencies situation.
A rescue diver will help other divers in distress and in need of medical help.
