Our second Danish adventure group successfully completed the Mount Kinabalu challenge, which is an arduous uphill ascent from Timpohon Gate to Low’s Peak at 4,095 metres altitude!

The day before, the group of 10 young adventurers’ was briefed to prepare them for the climb!

The presentation, delivered in the multimedia classroom facilities of our Head Office, includes graphics and images to illustrate the changes in climate and terrestrial environment along the summit trail to Low’s Peak. Travel Centre Manager Alice and Downbelow Marketing Director Joanne offer their own personal experiences of times they have climbed Mount Kinabalu to prepare the Danes on the physiological effects of altitude!

It’s difficult to describe the view of the Crocker Range mountains from the summit, but our adventurers’ witnessed the epic breaking dawn, and it’s a breathtaking view to behold!
