Our November Instructor Development Course (IDC) candidates qualify as Emergency First Response Instructors (EFRI), which is a requirement for our professional interns to be PADI Open Water Scuba Instructors (OWSI)!

Paul Jones, our General Operations Manager and Dive Equipment Specialist, conducts the 2-day course at the multimedia classroom facilities in our Kota Kinabalu Times Square Headquarters.

Presentations of the EFRI outlines clearly how to organize and teach all skills of CPR, first aid, and primary and secondary care. The course involves effectively teaching a variety of basic first aid skills, such bandaging, splinting, serious bleeding management, chest compressions, using an automated external defibrillator, and more!

Go PRO internship candidates of our IDC will become more confident with each EFR course they teach in their future career! This course is very popular because it isn’t a requirement to be a diver, or even have any previous experience, so the range of audience is – everyone!

For more information on how to learn or teach others valuable basic first aid skills, contact our Head Office and discuss a suitable itinerary.
