Kota Kinabalu, Sabah is one of those dream destinations for adventure group travel, and combined with our exceptional Downbelow customer service, groups of young travellers from Denmark visit every year to experience our 30-day ‘Expedition Borneo’ program!

This years’ first group have 20 participants, who have signed themselves up for so much ‘once-in-a-lifetime’ activities – they may never want to leave Borneo!

Within 24 hours of their arrival in Kota Kinabalu, the group have completed a day of island-hopping to see more of the natural beauty that can be found so close to Kota Kinabalu city centre in the Tunku Abdul Rahman marine park!

Marketing Director Joanne and Sabah Travel Centre Manager Alice will brief the adventurers’ at our HQ’s multimedia classroom facilities before each activity of their 30-day program to give advice, answer questions for their preparation! Their first activity is learning to scuba dive, with the possibility of earning a PADI Open Water Diver course, all the while camping at our premier PADI 5 Star IDC Dive Centre for 6 days and 5 nights!

Each activity, which range from climbing Mount Kinabalu to jungle trekking the historical Salt Trails, is filled with a unique education of Sabah’s culture and traditions to broaden any travellers’ life experiences!
