Downbelow’s PADI 5 Star IDC Dive Centre on Gaya Island welcomes a new professional intern.
PADI Divemaster Sam from Canada, who currently has 60 logged dives, joins us for the next few months and will be taking part in our next PADI Instructor Development Course.
Under resident PADI Course Director Richard Swann and his Go Pro Team, Sam will not only be joining the IDC, but will also do the PADI Master Scuba Diver Trainer afterwards.
But first, Downbelow Instructor Tim Tam will be taking Sam through the PADI Rescue Diver course to gain more experience.
She will also get her hands dirty with some behind-the-scenes action at our island dive station, and will be one of the crew and dive to heart’s content as here at Downbelow we dive every day.
On that note, even though Sam needs more than 60 dives for he upcoming qualifications, with Downbelow’s unlimited diving for professional interns, she will be able to dive as much as her bottom time allows.
As we love reporting on the progress of our interns, Sam is bound to feature plenty on here and be the centre of attention on on our dedicated IDC Course Asia blog too.
