Yet again it’s a busy few days for our island staff team at our premier PADI 5 Star IDC Dive Centre, as the third installment of young adventurers’ from Camps International participate in the PADI Open Water Diver course!

To begin their first day, Managing Director Richard Swann, welcomes the 35-strong adventure group to the exotic and tropical Gaya Island, where they will also be camping overnight during their scuba diving experience!

Without hesitation, the PADI Instructors and their new students readied dive equipment necessary, followed by a mass demonstration of equipment assembly.

Located in the calm training lagoon in front of our beach house, our team of PADI Instructors conducted the other performance requirements such as, a swimming test, skin diving skills and a survival float.

Evenings will be for rest and relaxation in the enormous camping tents, dive theory study and a well-deserved hearty dinner of course!

Get in touch with our Head Office to arrange a program to suit the needs of your Adventure Group to learn scuba diving and explore the amazing biodiversity of Borneo’s nature!
