Our PADI Instructor Development Course (IDC) candidates had a nice surprise when they spotted the rarely seen Ghostpipe Fish right under the jetty outside our beach house.
At first our resident PADI Course Director Richard Swann took a photo from the jetty using his iPhone, even though the fish was visible in the photo he couldn’t resist to go in the waters and take a closer shot.
It was beautiful and worth the trouble!
During last years IDC our candidates went diving with Whalesharks just off our jetty, previous to that the candidates spotted Blacktip Reef sharks during one of their training dives. Seeing this Ghostpipe Fish is nonetheless special too and a good omen for the current PADI IDC candidates.
Nature always has something special in store for our PADI IDC candidates.
