Our PADI Divemaster intern Guillaume Gailly is getting some public speaking practice as he gives a pre-dive briefing to our guests.
To become a fully certified divemaster, he will be expected to plan, organize and lead dives, supervise participants in PADI experience programs for uncertified divers, teach and certify PADI Skin Divers, conduct the PADI Scuba Review program for certified divers and if he chooses he can enroll in the PADI Instructor level training.
So getting information across during briefings to his guests or students is an important skill. Building his confidence can only be achieved through practice which Guillaume is doing. Of course, the briefing is under the watchful eye of our qualified instructors so he doesn’t leave out any important details.
If you are thinking of joining the professional world of scuba diving then becoming a PADI Divemaster is the first professional level in the PADI System of diver education.
