Congratulations to our young European adventurers who have just completed their PADI Open Water Course at our PADI 5 Star IDC Dive Centre. They also stayed on the island for a week and supported our daily beach clean-up by assisting our island crew every morning they were there.
Their adventure continues as they are about to take on the mighty Mount Kinabalu. Mt Kinabalu is the highest in Malaysia and the Roof of Borneo. It’s the undisputed jewel in the crown of Kinabalu National Park, a protected area spanning 753.7 km2 and Malaysia’s first World Heritage Site designated by UNESCO in December 2000.
They came to Downbelow’s KK office for a briefing by Marketing Director Joanne Swann yesterday and on everyone’s face was a look of excitement and nerves.
Well it won’t be an adventure if it’s not challenging right?
All the best everyone!
