It’s been well over 150 illegally discarded fishing nets removed by our Downbelow Marine and Wildlife Adventures operations since the very beginning a decade ago! In a single dive, a team of professional divers from our premier PADI 5 Star IDC Dive Centre, with the assistance of Go PRO internship candidates, remove 3 ‘Ghost Nets’ from inflicting anymore damage to the fragile and delicate coral reefs of TAR marine park!
Each Project AWARE contribution is documented for marine conservation purposes, and local authorities are also given what is needed to cause a positive change in our local environment!
