The 7th group of UK-based students from Camps International arrives at our Gaya Island beach house to explore the awesome nature of tropical Borneo!

For the next few nights they will be camping in the spacious tents we prepare for our large adventure groups and during their time they will be getting closer to nature! Our lucky gap year adventurers’ are offered to participate in one or more island activities we conduct.

One such opportunity is the chance to qualify as PADI Open Water Divers, and for any who are already certified divers they may choose to continue their dive education on the PADI Advanced Open Water Diver course. We also have non-diving activities: snorkeling, kayaking, jungle trekking and as part of our commitment to the environment our PADI Instructors will conduct a valuable presentation on the PADI AWARE Coral Reef Conservation Specialty!

This presentation highlights the various factors, which adversely effect our marine environment and the benefits of its preservation. As they spend their time at Gaya Island with our dedicated team of PADI professionals learning about the environment, they will be inspired to act in an environmentally friendly manner!

Contact our Head Office to arrange a group holiday at our Gaya Island Dive Centre. We cater to both small and large groups for adventure training and team building events, with a passion to promote care for the environment through our adventure activities!
