In March we beat the anti-net war drums against.

We assembled a team consisting of Gary & Jessica (local divemaster interns & DB staff) Andy, Denise & Jan (international divermaster interns) Wellson, Tim Tam & Keiko (IDC candidates), with Richard & Elvis leading the program.

This net was more tricky than most and required two dives as it was entangled at depth of 20m+.

This meant short dives, add a little current and air consumption and bottom time became well limited.

Richard & Elvis located the net and marked it first before the others joined to ensure no time was wasted.

We freed a variety of marine life and successfully removed the net villain from the reef.
