Like the group before them, our first wave of University of Glamorgan students for the year, gave some back to the environment by removing rubbish from it.
Downbelow’s resident PADI Course Director Richard, briefed the group on the Project AWARE mangrove clean-up, which was to take place in the bay next to Downbelow’s PADI 5 Star IDC Dive Centre.
He highlighted the AWARE Foundation and the importance of mangroves and also discussed the marine debris that ise entangled within the root systems of the mangrove swamps.
