Richard (Downbelow resident Course Director) had a great time teaching the Project AWARE Coral Reef Conservation Course to our 18 newly qualified, Danish divers.
The program covers everything from understanding the importance and complexity of coral and reef systems.
It also covers perils and how we can protect reefs along with information on the non-profit Project AWARRE Foundation, which as ocean enthusiasts, we all have a duty to support.
After the presentation they all did what divers love best; diving. The objectives were simply to enjoy the coral and try to apply the knowledge learned.
