Our PADI Divemasters interns Rhys and Amylia underwent the equipment exchange training with Downbelow instructor and Go Pro team member Lawrencius Jaulit aka Timtam as part of their internship course.
This necessary component of the Divemaster course is a unique training excercise where the students will call upon their creative problem-solving skills and sound judgement, which will be benificial once they are working as professionals in the scuba diving industry. As they carry out exchanging their masks, fins and BCD underwater they may come across problems and as they solve these obstacles, points are then scored.
To be a PADI Divemaster or PADI Instructor calls for a lot of responsibility, but if you ask any professional diver it’s the most exciting job they have ever experienced!
