We offer scuba diving trips to all the best dive sites in TARP & West Coast Sabah.
We are based on Gaya Island within the Tunku Abdul Rahman Park (TARP), Kota Kinabalu, Sabah, located just 5-8 minutes ride from the mainland aboard our spacious & and powerful dive boats.
The fun, however, does not stop here as we love to explore, so our Dive Team regularly journeys farther afield to locations such as Pulau Tiga, Usukan Bay Wrecks, Tuaran, Mayne Rock and Deluar Shoals.
These trips follow a different itinerary to that given below.
On the further away sites we journey to the dive site, enjoy a 2 tank dive, return to Gaya island for lunch and have an afternoon dive in TARP (time permitting).
Our island based PADI 5 Star IDC Dive & Adventure Center provides a very special experience, with a resort like feel.
It is a fun place to spend the day, enjoy the tropical surroundings and chat about all the wonderful creatures you will have spotted.

The Dive Sites
For beginners to the sport of Scuba Diving and professionals alike, the dive sites of TARP and West Coast Sabah offer a great deal.
Tropical waters abound with diverse and fascinating marine life, sheltered reefs with year round dive access, wrecks offering more challenging dives and idilic island paradise settings to snorkel and while away surface intervals.

With so much to see two or three day dive packages offer great value for money and you certainly won’t see the same dive site twice – unless you wanted to of course, which can happen!
For non diving spouses, family members and friends there are also plenty of activities to keep you entertained in paradise.

Since all our dive sites are so close to our Beach House Dive Centre, everyone enjoys surface intervals together.
In the afternoon snorkelers, under the fully guided program, can often join their companion on the dive boat as the afternoon dive is also snorkeler friendly!

08:30 Meet Downbelow staff & transfer by boat to Downbelow Dive Station on Gaya Island
09:15 1st Boat Dive

We have freshwater showers and toilet facilitates on the island.

Our Beach House Dive Centre is ideally suited to non-divers who can spend the day snorkeling or relaxing on the island with all of the above included, except scuba dives, at RM 200**.

Underwater Camera Rental
The Canon G12 with a Canon Underwater Housing is a 10 megapixel camera setup with fully controllable functions.
Included within the rental cost are your images downloaded to CDROM.
Cost: RM 225** per day.
