Become a PADI Instructor – A Career Change, Sabbatical or Gap Year Program
Our beginner diver to PADI Open Water Scuba Instructor Internship takes 3 – 6 month to complete depending on your existing diving qualification and number of logged dives.
It is recommended that you have already tried Scuba diving before committing to a 6 month internship and ideally, if you are already PADI Open Water qualified (or equivalent), this allows more flexibility for completing the course.
The last 2 week section of this internship is the actual PADI Instructor Course – IDC & IE. A pre-requisite for completing this section is to be a qualified diver for a period not less than 6 months.
Throughout the internship our Go PRO Instructor Team will team-teach the required PADI Courses, which we find hugely beneficial for candidates, because they gain experience & knowledge from different highly qualified instructor trainers.
In addition to the courses, candidates will also undergo supervised practical training in real life situations, dealing with real people.
We offer UNLIMITED diving throughout the program and you dive EVERYDAY if you wish, so gaining the required amount of experience is fun and convenient as we dive 3 times a day – everyday!
Our PADI 5 STAR IDC Centre is surrounded with fantastic diving.
Even though you will be here to learn, diving is part of this education and with 49 dive sites on our doorstep, no time is wasted on long boat or car rides.
By joining our Facebook profile, you will see what we get up to every day and read about other internship candidates’ daily activities.
Below you will see an example of the beginner diver to instructor internship.
