This course takes the already certified PADI Divemaster to another level. Our dedicated Downbelow Go PRO Instructor Development Team will introduce you to the PADI system of diver education.

The PADI IDC Course provides you with the tools to train scuba divers in the classroom, confined water and open water.

Not yet a PADI Divemaster? No problem – join us and become one!

Our IDC package comprises of three courses PADI Assistant Instructor Course (AI) & PADI Open Water Scuba Instructor (OWSI) and Emergency First Response Instructor Course (EFRI).

If you are already qualified in any of the these courses – no problem we can tailor your instructor training accordingly.

Upon successful completion of these three courses you will be ready for the PADI Instructor Examination, which is a 2 day standardized, objective evaluation conducted by PADI Instructor Examiners from PADI Asia Pacific who fly to Kota Kinabalu several times a year.

At Downbelow we conduct our IDC courses directly before the PADI IE so you are fully prepared for the evaluation.

Downbelow often provide the logistics for the PADI IE and we ensure that all candidates are completely familiar with the evaluation environment.

Downbelow's class room is not just in paradise, it is paradise!
Certification as a PADI Open Water Scuba Instructor is by successful completion of the IE.

If you have time then our 1 month Instructor Internship is incredibly good value for money and will fully prepare you to excel as a PADI Instructor in the diving industry.

The program includes UNLIMITED scuba diving & the IDC preparation course FREE OF CHARGE.
