Congratulations to our PADI Divemaster interns Rhys who has completed his program so now he is officially a PADI professional!
Beaming proud while handing his completion papers was Rhys’ mentor Strike! Under his guidance and also with the help of our GoPRO team, they ensured that he acquired all the necessary skills and understand the coursework necessary for his qualifications.
The PADI Divemaster qualification is actually just the first step on a long and rewarding professional scuba diving career. Rhys can take his career to another level and make the transformation from professional guiding to professional teaching by joining the PADI Instructor Development Course and subsequently pass the Instructor Examination (IE). Doing so qualifies an individual as a PADI Openwater Scuba Instructor (OWSI) which gives the authority to certify divers by teaching the PADI Discover Scuba Diving (DSD) all the way though the PADI system of education.
