Professional Divemaster intern and IDC candidate Paul conducted a Discover Scuba Diving program recently at Downbelow’s PADI 5 Star IDC Dive Centre on Gaya Island in Kota Kinabalu.
His student for the session was local intern Clarence and Downbelow’s PADI IDC Staff Instructor Alvin was on hand, overseeing their progress.
Clarence recently joined Downbelow’s local internship program. He signed up for 1 year during which he will undergo professional dive training. He will also get to learn about dive centre operations from the inside out.
Following completion of the year, as a Sabahan, he will be offered the opportunity to join the company permanently as a Divemaster under full contract.
