Scuba diving is not without its risks, just as is life! Although risk can’t be completed ruled out it can be minimised through risk assessment, training and preparation!
Our Camps International program of PADI Open Water & PADI Advanced Open Water Diver courses consists of more than 300 students, but split into manageable groups of 30 to 40, then reduced again to 3 or 4 students per PADI Instructor to complete their qualification within several days and camping overnight at our beach house.
Safety is essential to learning and enjoyment, for both the PADI Instructor as well as their student diver. With each group, the students are required to assemble & check their own dive equipment as well as check their buddy. This is part of learning, and they are also required to adhere to our roll call procedures.
Each session the student diver and a PADI professional enter the water to complete skills of the course, students must log in and out of the water noting their tank pressure and the time of entry and exit. Upon completion of their PADI Open Water Diver course, the student divers will expect and appreciate all the more the safety procedures implemented during their dive training!
