Sabah, Borneo: Joe Bourne’s second professional scuba diving internship has drawn to a close with Downbelow in Kota Kinabalu.
Joe joined us last year for an IDC internship and spend time with resident PADI Course Director Richard Swann and his Go Pro team, building us his knowledge, skills and experience.
After successfully completing the internship and becoming a fully qualified and experienced PADI Open Water Scuba Instructor, Joe returned home to start his new career.
Fast forward a year and later and Joe return to Kota Kinabalu, this time to tackle the Master Scuba Diver Trainer rating.
For the last couple of month Joe once again joined the team at Downbelow’s PADI 5 Star IDC Dive Centre on Gaya Island for more learning and diving in Kota Kinabalu.
As always, it was a pleasure to have Joe with us and see him grow in his role as PADI Professional.
With his objectives completed and his courses successfully passed, Master Scuba Diver Trainer Joe once again returns home.
Will we see him this time next year for an IDC Staff Instructor Internship perhaps?
