The PADI Digital Underwater Photography Specialty Course is so popular because you get to document your scuba diving memories and re-live your experiences through your photography!
The Peak Performance Buoyancy Specialty is another certification, in which your buoyancy control is improved to suit your individual scuba diving style!
At our premier PADI 5 Star IDC Dive Centre, we are offering these two PADI Specialty courses with a 10% overall discount!
As a part of any program through Downbelow, we include transfers between your KK City Centre accommodation and our Gaya Island beach house. Lunch and refreshments will be available at the island, as well as dive equipment rental, marine park fees, all PADI materials for the two PADI Specialty courses and their certifications.
Whether you are an amateur photographer looking to improve your skills or a beginner to the sport of scuba diving itself, one of our experienced PADI Instructors will guide you to understanding the relationship between the two scuba diving disciplines. For the PADI Digital Underwater Photography Specialty course, it can be conducted with the use of your own underwater camera, or the very user-friendly Canon G15 that is available at our beach house for rent.
It’s a real thrill to get the perfect photo of a rare creature you find, although buoyancy during dives must be very good whilst roaming for your subject, but it is tricky to begin with as you focus on your artistic task to keep from creating ‘motion blur’!
Your PADI Instructor will conduct the PADI Peak Performance Buoyancy Specialty course to help you adjust your buoyancy and supervise to make sure your diving behaviour does not damage the environment. The improvement of buoyancy skills comes with experience, however your Instructor will advise on your body positioning, breathing skill (yes! Optimum deep breathing comes with practice) and weight distribution to suit you!
These two scuba diving disciplines go hand-in-hand, and you will notice your photography develops beautifully as your buoyancy skills advance! There are two open water dives for both PADI Specialties, however the PADI Digital Underwater Photography Specialty can be conducted with snorkel dives, so there’s flexibility to complete the course.
The PADI Digital Underwater Photography Specialty is RM690 and the PADI Peak Performance Buoyancy Specialty is RM550, totalling RM1,240.
Our promotional 10% discounted price for the PADI Specialties combined is RM1,115.
The PADI Specialty courses combined, is an attractive promotion for their benefits to one another and we want to make it easy for you to continue your dive education and broaden your horizons!
