For the next few weeks we are fortunate to have lots of activity at our premier PADI 5 Star IDC beach house on Gaya Island! Several groups of UK-based youngsters are exploring the tropical and exotic Borneo during their summer holidays from school as part of their Camps International program. More than 300+ adventurers’ will be stopping off at our Dive Centre to learn scuba diving with a few nights of camping on the paradise Gaya Island!
Their program activity includes a dive certification, so for anyone who is already certified, they may progress their dive education to gain the PADI Advanced Open Water Diver.
To experience scuba diving for the very first time is a big achievement!
However for anyone not wanting to continue their dive education, there are plenty of activities available at the island, so our young adventurers’ have other choices, such as kayaking, snorkeling and trekking the primary rainforest trails or completing marine conservation programs.
Well done to everyone involved, including the island staff team of PADI professionals at our Gaya Island beach house! The following day the second group of Camps International youngsters will be camping and diving, making it feel like an endless summer in Borneo!
