As the day drew to a close yesterday, so did Matt & Kyla’s time with us at the Downbelow PADI 5 Star IDC Dive Centre on Gaya Island.
The two joined us a month ago for a intensive, customised 1-month internship.
They took on the daunting task of completing the PADI Divemaster course, closely followed by the PADI Instructor Development Course, all within 1 month.
Through sheer determination and the expert guidance of our resident PADI Course Director Richard Swann and the Go Pro Team, Matt and Kyla achieved all their objectives successfully.
All that remain is for them to sit for the PADI Instructor Examination, for which they will likely return to Downbelow in Kota Kinabalu, Sabah.
