PADI Master Scuba Diver Trainers Mel, Pablo and Polly extend their vast knowledge and experience to our November Instructor Development Course (IDC) candidates!
Our resident Platinum PADI Course Director Richard Swann will be mentoring the three instructors to qualify as PADI IDC Staff Instructors. Their professional training is conducted concurrently with the IDC because the performance requirement to certify as an IDC Staff Instructor is audit an entire IDC!
Before the course orientation, Richard will deliver presentations on the psychology of counseling and the role of a Staff Instructor on an IDC.
It’s very fulfilling for seasoned Instructors, such as the candidates themselves, to provide valuable guidance to the next generation of instructors, and improve their own instructional skills in the process!
