Mesilau is located in a sheltered valley on the East side of Mount Kinabalu and offers a scenic view of the Crocker Range the backbone of Sabah’s hill regions.

The highlight of the program is walking on the beautiful Mesilau Trail where you will enjoy first-hand many endemic species of rhododendrons, orchids, pitcher plants and wild ginger. One endemic pitcher plant here is the Nepenthes Rajah, a highland plant that is listed as endangered by the IUCN (International Union for Conservation of Nature). So don’t forget to bring your camera along as you might stumble upon them on your walk.
Your knowledgable guide for the trail will also bring you to a spot with a clear view of the majestic Mount Kinabalu, clouds permitting where selfies (and groupies) photos are a must.
