Tunku Abdul Rahman Park, Kota Kinabalu: With Downbelow’s continuing influx of groups, we thought a little more space at the reception area of our 5 Star IDC Dive Centre on Gaya Island, would be in order.
With that in mind the island crew set out to complete the dive centre’s second expansion project in two 2 years, this time expanding the reception area.
Without much disruption to our daily activities, and with a team effort from all the staff, the expansion was quickly completed.
The dive centre now sports a second, covered deck where Downbelow’s visitors can study course material, enjoy lunch or just generally kick back and relax while enjoying the Gaya island views.
With more groups booked for a variety of corporate team building, adventure training, snorkeling safaris and diving course programs during the rest of the year, the extra space will be well and truly utilised.
