Last Friday our Danish Adventure group arrived at the Downbelow PADI 5 Star IDC Dive Centre on Gaya Island, Kota Kinabalu.
The adventurous Danes, all 22 of them, have spent the last week here on the island with us, where they learned to dive and, undoubtedly, appreciate nature.
Last week, Downbelow’s island staff erected their accommodations to which Richard welcomed them. An oversized tent, their comfortable hammocks will put them as close to nature as you can get whilst still sleeping in a bed.
They depart from the island tomorrow, brandishing their PADI Open Water Diver certificates as proof of their underwater achievements.
Their adventure doesn’t stop there however, because they’re head for Kinabalu Park where they will take on their next challenge; the mighty Mt. Kinabalu.
