Today’s marine debris cleanup was focused in the rocky areas that are only accessible at low tide on either side of the bay in front of the dive centre.
Lots of floating trash is washed in by the wind and the tides. They are then trapped in these areas so our team have their work cut out for them in our in-going debris cleanup & awareness campaign.
As previously stated our entire island team will clean the beach every day of this month in support of Project AWARE’s marine debris awareness month.
Actually our trainees do it every day anyway only this month, they have a lot of helping hands from the other guys.
