Arriving at Gaya Island is the 9th group of UK-based Camps International Gap Year adventurers’ who will be camping at our beach house for awesome adventure activities and an opportunity to learn more about nature!
Borneo offers incredible endemic species of wildlife to inspire our young adventurers’ to learn more about nature and the ways an individual can contribute to preserving a beautiful paradise.
For the next few days, our experienced team of PADI Instructors will teach the PADI Open Water Diver course. Any members of the group who are already a certified diver can continue their dive education to the next level and qualify as PADI Advanced Open Water Diver, and for non-divers, there is snorkeling, kayaking and jungle trekking to experience. All dive training and activities are conducted with the highest standards of safety, as this is our top priority!
To inspire our adventurers’ furthermore, one of our passionate and dedicated Instructors will deliver the Coral Reef Conservation Course. This will also provide value to their beach cleaning conservation project our island staff team organize before they depart.
