This is obviously one of the saddest net removals we have done this year, we were just to late for this poor Turtle !
The Downbelow team removed the net from the reef & managed to release other more fortunate marine creatures.
Fishermen please stop net fishing over sensitive reef systems & dumping your snagged nets coz we will simply have nothing left at all, you will have no fish to catch & we will have no reef to see!
Divers do not forget your knives as you never know what you will come across!
