After the adventure group from Denmark qualified as open water divers, they took to the hills – or more accurately, the Crocker Range Mountains – for some hardcore jungle trekking.

Over 5 days they covered 40km through Sabah’s dense, tropical jungle, along many rivers and across numerous mountain peaks.

They had to rise to many challenges – some physical, some mental, of which the most challenging turned out to be the ever un-popular leach.

But the tenacious Danes conquered the jungle and did it smiling. We never heard them complain once… at least not in English.
