A total of 27 Adventurers’ from Camps International visit our Gaya Island beach house to learn about our wild Borneo nature for their Gap Year this summer!

Our professional team of our premier PADI 5 Star IDC Dive Centre will inspire the UK-based students to embrace their practical-based education of our environment through a a variety of island activities to experience at our beach house!

Camping overnight at Gaya Island will allow them to immerse fully in the island lifestyle and encourage the adventurers’ to learn all about our paradise setting, through learning to dive on the PADI Open Water Diver course or continuing their dive education. There are also plenty of non-diving activities, such as snorkelling, kayaking and jungle trekking, with an informed presentation of the PADI AWARE Coral Reef Conservation Specialty delivered by one of our Instructors.

Our island staff team will organise a beach cleaning project before they leave the island, to understand the value of teamwork in making a positive difference!
