The 10th and final group arrives at our Gaya Island beach house with 26 Gap Year Adventurers’ from UK-based Camps International to achieve a unique learning experience of our tropical Borneo nature!
Island activities we offer, such as snorkelling, kayaking and jungle trekking, can be experienced to gain knowledge of the natural biodiversity found in our exotic Sabah paradise!
The PADI Open Water Diver course is offered to all adventurers’ to achieve a qualification, or if any are already a certified diver, they will be encouraged to continue their dive education or enjoy leisure diving to explore the protected Tunku Abdul Rahman Park.
Non-divers are invited to participate in a presentation conducted by one of our experienced PADI Instructors on the benefits of Coral Reef Conservation. This aims to encourage the students to offer suggestions on how they can contribute to the preservation of our marine environment in a relaxed and open discussion and it will benefit in the beach clean-up project our island team conduct before they depart Gaya Island!
For the last few weeks, the 330+ Gap Year Adventurers’ have given our premier PADI 5 Star IDC Dive Centre such a lively and energetic atmosphere that won’t be forgotten by our island team, and we would love to accommodate them again in future because there’s lots more adventure to experience in Borneo!
