Kota Kinabalu, Malaysia: Our June PADI IDC Instructor Development Course successfully concluded today with a a 100% success in our Kota Kinabalu PADI IE Instructor Exam!
We congratulate our PADI IDC candidates George, Wayne and Kath on passing their PADI IE and qualifying as PADI Open Water SCUBA Instructors OWSI. We are very proud of them.
Our candidates were examined by PADI Instructor Examiner Jim Woodhul, always a welcome and happy face to have around in Kota Kinabalu.
Our PADI IDC candidates’ hard work from over the last couple of weeks were examined during the PADI IE.
They have developed progressively under the guidance of our PADI Go Pro IDC Team, the culmination of which took place over the last 2 days during the PADI IE Instructor Exam.
There are 2 parts to the PADI IE. The first, theory exams, are conducted near our offices in Kota Kinabalu, with the second part, the practical exam, takes place at our PADI 5 Star IDC Dive Centre on Gaya Island just offshore.
Certification as a PADI OWSI is dependent on meeting the stringent requirements set out for SCUBA diving instructors by PADI, and the PADI IE Instructor Exam seeks to establish that the candidates has developed in a way that meets these criteria.
